Quality Assurance

The ISHLT Transplant Registry generates periodic validation reports to verify specific data elements. The procedure for data validation is:

1. Compare information contained in the report with original source documents.

2. Correct any data errors on the report and return along with the signed data validation cover sheet.

3. If the report contains no errors, sign and return only the validation cover sheet.
